We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic customer account / sales professional to focus on the builders’ merchant sector. Reporting to the Account Director, this role is based at our York head office with need for UK-wide travel, though alternatively the role could be based in the South of England with regular travel to York.
As part of a dedicated team the Account Manager is responsible for driving sector revenues by winning new business and optimising existing accounts. We are looking for someone who can provide a high-quality customer experience, ideally with experience of selling into builders’ merchants. The role entails both commercial and technical aspects of the account management process. This person must have a passion for selling but must also be able to organise and plan their sales activity.
